ADHD for Adults

A woman contemplating an ADHD diagnosis or missed opportunities in her life she has a pensive expression in a dimly lit room with a brick wall background.

Many adults reach a stage in life where long-standing challenges with focus, organisation, or emotional regulation finally make sense, often following a late diagnosis of ADHD or contemplating a diagnosis. For some, these experiences can become more noticeable during significant life transitions.

In my work, I offer ADHD-informed coaching and therapy that blends psychological insight with practical, evidence-based strategies to help you understand your unique neurodivergent profile, manage daily demands, and build self-compassion after years of feeling misunderstood or self-critical.

I have a particular interest and ongoing research focus on ADHD in adults, including the lived experiences of women diagnosed later in life, particularly during significant hormonal shifts such as the menopause transition. This area of research deeply informs my practice and has strengthened my belief that with the right support, understanding, and strategies, people with ADHD can lead more balanced, fulfilling, and connected lives.

Whether you've been recently diagnosed or are still exploring what ADHD or ASD means for you, I offer a collaborative and empowering space to develop practical strategies for emotional regulation, executive functioning, and self-understanding—while also honouring your strengths, creativity, and lived experience.

Areas of Specialisation

Relationships can be one of our greatest sources of comfort — and also one of our greatest challenges. Over time, patterns of misunderstanding, disconnection, or defensiveness can replace closeness and ease.

In my work with couples, I focus on helping partners understand the emotional patterns that keep them stuck and learn how to communicate and reconnect more effectively. Drawing on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and other evidence-based approaches, I support couples to move from blame and withdrawal toward empathy, safety, and shared understanding.

Couples seek therapy with me for many reasons — to rebuild trust after conflict or betrayal, navigate parenting or life transitions, manage the impact of neurodiversity, addiction, or emotional distance within the relationship, or simply to strengthen connection and intimacy.

My aim is to create a calm, respectful space where both partners feel heard and understood, and where genuine repair and growth can begin.
